We actually started this adventure in February, 2018, when we went to an RV Show in Cedar Rapids looking for a little pop up trailer we could pull behind a Ford Escape. The idea was just to replace our tent from the old camping days of our youth. This planted a seed that germinated quite a bit in March and April with late season snows, which convinced us that living north of I-80 was just not going to work. Sold the house, sold the Escape, bought a 3/4 Ton Ford and a Coachman trailer and off we went.
