Thanksgiving in Texas!! Lots to be thankful for, including family and friends at this time. Oh, and Texas in the Winter!! That’s a lot to be thankful for. Cedar Hill is a gorgeous campground along the edge of the Joe Pool Lake just South of the Dallas / Ft Worth metroplex and I-20. Close enough to do the city sights, but still a very out in the country feel. Highly recommended if you want that mixed experience.
