We opened the second year of our quest by picking up a new, and much larger trailer. Our new home is a Reflection 315RLTS from Grand Design. This gave us some much needed extra space for full time RV living, including a full bedroom, with 2 closets and a chest of drawers for storage. We toured the production plant, and have been very happy with this choice.

Travel started in July, 2019, when I retired from Collins Aerospace and we left for Bloomington, IL, and then Minneapolis, MN, to see our 2 daughters and their families before embarking through the North Central States.

The real opening of this part of the journey was a night at the Round Lake Winery, in Round Lake, MN. This is a Harvest Host stay, and the wine and food made a terrific kickoff. The sunrise was spectacular, and set a good note for our first night on the journey.
