Fort Worth turned out to be a very bike friendly city. The Trinity River and the adjoining bike trail runs right past the down town and the old Stock Yards tourist areas. Wide, level, paved walkway / bikeway along the entire route provided a good 20 mile afternoon ride in November – a rare treat for us coming down from the upper midwest (you don’t get many riding opportunities in late November north of I-80!).
