The weather was turning much colder and the higher elevations were getting feet (not inches) of snow the end of September. So we decided to make Yellowstone and the Grand Teton National Parks a drive through and stay in Lander, Wyoming. Initially, we were only going to spend a couple of days here, but an initial run through the Sinks Canyon State Park convinced us to stay longer, so we’ll be here at least a week and a half. Hopefully, the weather holds for us!! Here’s some initial shots that led to this decision
